- Packing list in Spanish legalized by the Uruguayan Consulate
- Certificate of residence in Spanish, indicating a minimum of 2 years abroad. Applicable only to returning citizens.
- Authorization resolution, in case of being a Uruguayan diplomat.
- Entry certificate issued by the National Immigration Directorate, applicable to non-citizen individuals, returning citizens and foreigners under legal residence.
- Residence certificate, only for returning citizens and foreigners under legal residence.
- Documents proving that the legal residence procedure has been initiated, only for non-citizens.
- Diplomatic franchise authorization issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uruguay at the request of the embassy or international organization in Uruguay (only for foreign diplomats)
- 400;”>Uruguayan diplomats must present a certificate issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs indicating the period of employment abroad.
- Customs guarantee, applicable to foreigners without legal Uruguayan residence.
