Documentación necesaria

Para tramitar la importación de efectos personales en la República Dominicana es necesario presentar:

Pasaporte original y copia de la residencia o visado correspondiente.
Lista de empaque (Packing List) detallada y valorada en dólares.
Conocimiento de embarque (Bill of Lading) debidamente legalizado.

Es fundamental que el titular de la mudanza esté presente en el país para la verificación física de los bienes. En Grupo Amygo te asesoramos sobre el orden documental para evitar recargos por demora en las terminales portuarias.

Régimen aduanero

La República Dominicana cuenta con la Ley 168-67 sobre exoneraciones de mudanzas, que permite a ciudadanos dominicanos que retornan tras dos años fuera y a extranjeros residentes importar sus bienes usados libres de impuestos, siempre que cumplan los plazos establecidos. Existen restricciones claras sobre la importación de electrodomésticos en grandes cantidades (se permite una unidad de cada tipo por familia) y sobre productos alimenticios o químicos. Los vehículos están sujetos a una normativa de antigüedad estricta (máximo 5 años) y a impuestos específicos.
