BEFORE SELECTING A MOVING
COMPANY
Search a new school for children.
Get information about vehicles and pet import
regulation in destination country.
Foresee a residence in destination country until you will receive your goods.

6-8 WEEKS BEFORE
Decide what you’re going to move.
Ask a quote to Grupo AMYGO.
Schedule the plan trip. Flights, hotels, maps, etc.
Book a date with Grupo AMYGO.
Gather together all family documents (passports,
insurance, certifies, etc.)
Negotiate all necessary for your pet trip.
Inform your suppliers about the move date (electricity,
gas, water, newspaper, magazines telephone,
internet, gardener service, pool maintenance, etc.).
Go into: http://www.grupoamygo.com/postal/ to
communicate your family and friends your new
address.
Communicate your move to bank, credit card and
insurance companies and your new address.

2-3 WEEKS BEFORE
Ask you doctor for medical prescriptions and
medical reports of all your family members.
Cancel clubs, gymnasiums, etc...
Think about pet care the day of the move.

1 WEEK BEFORE
Start using up food from the freezer.
Confirm childcare arrangements for moving day.
Transfer your funds to your new bank accounts.
Empty oil and petrol of equipment to be moved.
Identify goods to be send by air.
Close security boxes. Jewelry will have to travel
with you.
Flammable, explosive like solvent, paint, butane
gas cylinder, etc. can not be transported by moving
companies.
Pack your baggage.
Put together a pile of do not remove essentials:
coats, handbags, snacks, cleaning materials, etc.

THE BIG DAY
Check and supervise the Inventory List.
Keep a copy of Inventory and Waybill.
Do last visual check to all rooms.

IN TRANSIT
Confirm the contact information you have provide
to the moving company.
Notify your arrival date and residence address to
the moving company.

THE DELIVERY DAY
Check your goods and indicate where have to be
placed. Sign the inventory.
